Liberty Horsemanship
The art of connecting with horses without tack such as halters or bridles, in a free and open environment. At liberty, horses may choose to express their true feelings, allowing authentic relationships to develop and flourish.
Free Spirit Stables Founder, Hannah Francis with her friends Mick & Bill
Why Liberty Horsemanship?
Develop and deepen the relationship with your horse
Clarify communication with your horse by learning their language
Establish excellent manners around personal space, food, gates, trailers, etc.
Dance with your horse, move in unison with and without tack
Build a solid foundation for riding and any other activities with your horse
During Liberty Horsemanship sessions with Hannah, you’ll learn how to “speak” horses’ native language, grow your leadership skills, build trust, gain respect, and develop meaningful relationships with horses.
Hannah is a fully certified Resnick Method Liberty Horsemanship Instructor, and her teachings are heavily influenced by her extensive studies with Carolyn Resnick & Nancy Zintsmaster. Carolyn Resnick developed her method of Liberty Horsemanship by studying wild horses and observing behaviors shared amongst the herd. Carolyn adapted these natural behaviors into tools humans can use to communicate clearly with horses in a language they understand.
In addition to Liberty Horsemanship, Hannah's experience as a certified Yoga teacher and 15 years of dancing Argentine tango, swing, and blues has given her a profound appreciation for leadership founded in harmony rather than dominance. Whether you are seeking to deepen your relationship with horses, yourself, or others, Hannah is ready to help you move in connection.
